The singer
reveals all of her artistic sides in this modern and daring work which she
herself arranged and co-produced. With
13 original and previously unreleased tracks, this album also affirms Lia
Sophia as author and composer. “In a
universe of 30 songs which I composed for this album, the most difficult thing
was determining which songs would be included on the CD.” The CD navigates through the musical
atmosphere of the 60s and 70s. While the
arrangement of brass evokes Big Band music, the electric guitars carry the
delay characteristic of the 1970s. At the
same time, one notices in Davi Amorim’s guitar grooves in the song “The flower”
a regional touch of “guitarradas.” “My
truths” is in a 1950s rock and roll style with a marking lundu rhythm, while
the subtle influence of brega can be detected in the delicate song
“Woman.” The lyrics depict scenes of
everyday life, romantic stories, and even philosophical questioning.

A atmosfera do disco passeia pelo ambiente das
décadas de 60 e 70. Enquanto o arranjo de sopros traz o clima das Big Bands, as
guitarras trazem os deleys típicos dos anos 70. Por outro lado, na música “A
flor” é possível perceber nos grooves da guitarra de Davi Amorim o toque
regional das guitarradas. Já em “Minhas verdades”, um rock n´roll estilo ie ie
ie com o lundu marcando o ritmo, e na delicadíssima e requintada “Mulher” a influência
do brega pode ser sutilmente percebida.
As letras retratam desde cenas do cotidiano,
estórias românticas, imagens oníricas e até questionamentos filosóficos.
